Hydraulic fracturing (fracking) creates large quantities of greenhouse gas - methane, at least 20 times more powerful than CO2, which contributes greatly to global warming . In addition, radioactive materials from deep within the ground are brought to the surface and must be disposed.
This material combined with heavy metals also brought up from the ground and tracking chemicals creates serious health hazards for the general public and Wildlife.
Water soil and air, the vanguards of all life are pleated by this process. We are not served by gain of additional energy sources at the cost of this pollution of our precious resources.
Fracking must be stopped before it is too late.
