end genocides once and for all!

After the Holocaust, world leaders said genocides would never happen again. However we are not stopping them. Since 1945, there have been multiple accounts of countries whose leaders take part in and support mass killings including Cambodia and Iraq. Darfur, in Sudan, was targeted by Arab militias known as the Janjaweed. This genocide is still occurring today and has resulted in over 480,000 deaths and 2.8 million displaced citizens. The Syrian president is attempting to put an end to peaceful protests through mass killings using chemical weapons, attack helicopters, and tanks. Instead of just recognizing the cruelty of these circumstances, we urge the government to send relief to the victims. The government needs to step in and take action to support those suffering.
