Gerrymandering has become an increasingly problematic issue, yet very few legislators blink an eye at the widespread use of the practice.
It perverts the election of the people's preferred candidate by blocking them in with others who want a different candidate or have differing political stances based off socio-economic trends.
We need to create a non-partisan council, like the one they have in Australia, to create boundaries that look reasonable and proportionate; like an adult, not a five year old, drew them.
