A United States with a gun ban (where the intolerant want to be eventually) is a United States where only the criminals will have guns. The best step to decreasing violence is to allow our honest citizens to arm themselves.
Do you think a shooter would target a school that he knows has no guns or a school where many of the teachers are armed? Gun-free zones does not equal safety.
Please do not mistake this with a petition to arm our teachers. They should not be mandated to arm themselves, but allowed to on their own will granted they are legal.
