A small minority of frightened people in the US support gun ownership in the USA; supported and marketed by the NRA and Gun Manufacturers. As a result we suffer from a vastly disproportionate level of gun related violence and murder when compared to the rest of the civilized world. It is time to ban guns in the general publics hands. Regulate them as the Europeans do. It is time to stop being afraid and to face up to the challenges of a civilized society. We need to get rid of guns. Get rid of gun related violence and instead enjoy the safety and peaceful lifestyle realized other civilized countries.
