Every year we allow 65,000 aliens to take jobs in the United States that could be filled by US citizens, Corportations support the H1B visa program because it lowers their labor costs and forces US citizens to compete against workers who will accept a lower wage. In addition, another 20,000 workers can be admitted if they hold advanced degrees.
If we are serious about creating jobs for US citizens, ending the H1B visa program is the best place to start.
