End the Handouts for AIG.

Created by M.F. on January 09, 2013

American International Group is allowed to count net operating losses against future tax bills. A government oversight committee, which included current senator Elizabeth Warren, estimated that this special tax deal has contributed as much as 17.7 billion dollars in profits to AIG.

Currently AIG is considering joining a law suit against the federal government for what they have deemed as unfair terms in the 182 billion dollar bailout that occurred during the 2008 financial crisis.

To put it in brief terms, the federal government saved AIG, and continues to provide them with unneeded corporate welfare. As a thank you, AIG is considering joining a lawsuit against the very people who keep giving them money.

Please sign this petition to say no to giving our tax money to AIG.
