Restrictions on travel to Cuba violate the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment. The embargo no longer (if ever) represents the will of the citizens of the United States. By supporting this embargo, we infringe the very notions of freedom and self-determination that built the United States by denying the freedom of opportunity to both our citizens, and the citizens of Cuba. The Freedom to Travel to Cuba Act must be passed by the U.S. Congress without further delay.
