END HIGH SCHOOL STATE EXIT EXAMS WITH PROOF SUFFICIENT CREDITS HAVE BEEN EARNED.

We would like the government to end state exit Exams by companies that only have a monetary interest in our students. They make money off testing our students, so if they make the test hard enough they are securing the need for their test on a repeated basis by failing students. We have numerous children stuck in a poorly designed system. Students work hard to get to 12th grade. Sometimes students do this facing adversity such as homelessness, being the provider for the home, raising siblings, or their own children. These tests also cause large amounts anxiety, even making some students physically ill. If students can provide a portfolio of their learning to substantiate their learning then that should be combined with End of Course Exams to prove the student earned a high school diploma!
