High tech, software, and IT outsourcing to foreign countries continues to be a major issue to the US economy and the middle class. The outsourcing of these typical well paying middle class jobs hurts our economy in the following ways:
1) Less jobs equals less taxes paid into the US treasury
2) Less jobs equals less buying power of the middle class, which in turn hurts local and service oriented business
3) Less jobs equals more unemployment for all Americans, including recent college graduates.
Why export our best paying jobs AND the cash that comes with them to foreign countries? Why not keep the jobs, dollars, spending, and tax money in the USA?
