Fracking has been proven to contaminate water at levels unheard of in human history: 1.3 million plus gallons per well. Fracking contaminates and renders soil useless. It causes methane omissions at 3.6% to 7.9% per life of a well and is a major contributor to the greenhouse effect. These natural resources are vital to the survival of every human, animal and plant on this planet and safeguarding our natural resources should be of the utmost importance to all of us. Hydraulic fracturing jeopardizes our very survival. I suggest that we need to explore other alternatives: solar, wind, hydropower, bio mass and geothermal energies are all safe as well as cost effect ways to produce energy. Lets end fracking before it's too late.
