End the Income Tax

Studies show that the income tax is a burdensome tax on the people, take their hard earned money and putting it into the hands of the government. The same studies show that ending the income tax and replacing it with a sales tax is less burdensome. This would put billions of dollars back into the people's hands to spend, thus creating jobs and creating more tax revenue. The cycle would continue as our economy would grow through increased consumer spending.
