The lobby groups funnel money and promises of campaign contributions to our representatives. When this happens, policy is made based on the influence of the few and it undermines the democracy of the constituency that actually cast the ballots for the representative. The voice of THE PEOPLE is, therefore silenced.
Please implement laws to eliminate lobbying in Congress and return the voice of the people represented to the level of influence in our democracy that it deserves.
