Serving 46 million every day McDonalds is the worlds largest fast food restaurant. McDonalds was founded in April of 1955 and started serving Chicken McNuggets in June of 1983. Fortunately slaughterhouse methods have been replaced since. Unfortunately todays methods are even crueler than the early 80s.
Live birds with broken legs and wings, open wounds, and large tumors are shackled and hung on a slaughter line, they are then left struggling on the ground for hours. The machines designed to slit birds necks regularly miss cutting wings, faces and other body parts. Live birds are forced into scalding tanks and drowned. It would cost McDonalds nothing to stop this. So I urge you to replace McDonalds slaughter methods with a better humane alternative.
