Maybe the federal government should stop recognizing marriage completely. Why should a married couple get a tax break when half of marriages end in divorce anyways? Why give a tax break to people that tie up the judicial system? Why fight same sex coupling? Why is it so easy to marry but so hard to divorce? These questions baffle me. If people want to go before God and declare their selves married, this should be fine. However, these marriages are costing Americans a lot! Why should marriage be any concern for the government?
