As a society and country we have just come to accept certain forms of theft. Medicare/caid Frauds is among them. Medicare Fraud for example costs NY alone about 14 Billion per year depending on who's estimates you follow. Virtually all of the instances worth pursuing are perpetrated by our "corporate citizens". I respectfully submit that we spend 500 million hiring smart, competent investigators and prosecutors to bring this to an end. Furthermore we not only arrest perpetrators but aggressively pursue asset forfeiture to fund future enforcement efforts. Law enforcement as well as prosecutorial management needs more training and accountability for failing to address these frauds
