This petition calls on President Obama to follow up on his campaign promise to call for an end to settlements in Palestine and sue for peace with a two-state solution and Israel drawing back to its pre-1967 borders. President Obama, you've accomplished so much. Some would have said what you have achieved was impossible just as they say that Israeli-Palestinian peace is impossible. You are the only one who has the skills and power to bring this 57-year conflict to an end. The recent Israeli settler violence setting a Palestinian home on fire and burning alive an infant and severely burning his brother and mother. The Palestinian plight has long been a source of hatred of the West for supporting the brutal suppression of the Muslims. Recent Islamic terrorism feeds on this to gain support.
