end items being slipped into legislation at the last minute.

Created by M.W. on January 19, 2013

The Legislative branch is often telling us they just can't do anything about "pork," as overspending and controversial issues are slipped into a bill at the last minute. Many legislators even admit publicly they don't read the entire bill before voting on it. Simply limit a bill to one single issue. Other items must be contained in their own separate bills. As this will increase individual bills, priorities will have to be set and only the most important issues will be heard and voted on.
