Abortion is a barbaric practice, and it has no place in progressive society. Defend the defenseless and stop the killing of hundreds of thousands of Americans each year. Under the Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2004, If a person attempts to kill an unborn child by injuring his/her mother, the injurer can be tried for murder: "If the person engaging in the conduct thereby intentionally kills or attempts to kill the unborn child that person shall, instead of being punished under paragraph 1, be punished as provided under sections 880, 918 and 919(a) of this title (articles 80, 118 and 119(a)) for intentionally killing or attempting to kill a human being". A life is a life. To truly move forward we must ban this barbaric practice and truly hold all life to be sacred, wanted or not.
