end Lifetime paychecks to Congress members who have not served more than 20 years in Congress.

Created by K.D. on December 09, 2012

The Salary of House/Senate Members is $174,000/year for life even if they are voted out of office. This equals over 93 Million dollars per year just for the current congress. Having them pay into a retirement system like the rest of America is fair, to collect their retirement they have to serve at least 15 years in congress. If the are voted out of office then they take only the amount they have paid in out of the fund or roll it into a 401K.
