end the lifetime retirement benefits for politicians who only serve a single term in office.

I am a government employee myself, and I find it highly unethical that they create the "rules" that say I have to work for thirty years until I can be entitled to a retirement benefit I can actually live on. They only have to work 2 to 4 years and they will recieve 100percent retirement benefits. I think if the president would cutout that entitlement, our economy would benefit greatly from the funds no longer given away to the politicians who no longer serve their purpose unless of course they put in 30yrs and only given 80percent, like most of America's citizens. That would also incude the president giving up his own entitlement. Lets see if the politicians will put their money where their mouth is, if they truly want to fix the economy.
