End the lifetime payment of House and Senators salaries when they are finished with office. This is a huge drain on the national economy and was not voted on by the citizens but by the House and Senators themselves to make themselves richer. At MOST they should be paid a 2 year severance package in order to help them readjust to civilian life. We do not need to be paying hundreds of thousands a year for someone who is no longer working to serve the public.
