The best way to effectively end the standoff at Malheur Wildlife Refuge is to issue pardons to Dwight and Steven Hammond. It is ridiculous to say their crime in any way amounts to terrorism and a judge issued a sentence that they completed. By another judge saying they need to serve more time after they were released is a gross overstatement of government power. This standoff can be resolved easily by issuing pardons to the Hammonds and then allowing everyone involved to leave peacefully and be done with it. The Hammonds served their time issued by a judge and putting them back in prison borders on double jeopardy by punishing them a second time for the same offense.
