end the mandated DOD budget cuts.

The DoD has started writing plans to close commissaries stateside due to the large DoD budget cuts mandated by our government. To do this will put serious financial strain on thousands of families that are already struggling to make ends meet. Benefits such as TA, health care, and the commissary are what helps to make up for the lessened pay troops receive. Having to shop off base will not only cause these families to be spending close to 30% - 40% more to feed their families, especially for people in more remote areas, but will cause thousands of these same families to lose much needed income when a troop or dependent loses their job. We ask D.C. to please end DoD budget cuts and find a more appropriate place to decrease spending that will not hurt the people defending this country.
