We implore President Obama to do all that is within his power and within the power of his administration to immediately enact federal legislation which will mandate spaying, neutering and a temporary moratorium on breeding for all dogs and cats, with certain exceptions to be fairly and thoughtfully considered.
It is both horrific and shameful that this country's 'fix' for the problem of pet overpopulation comes via the beveled tip of a euthanasia syringe. We believe President Obama is a compassionate man who can finally stop the killing of millions of animals each year. These creatures who have no voice but have given so much to so many are counting on you to do the right thing. .
