We live in a world with limited resources. Human history is filled with examples of atrocities committed so that one could have more by taking from another who has less. Unfortunately things haven't changed much. We're still occupying impoverished nations with resources we want... or extorting them for favorable business terms using the world bank and the CIA.
Our success should not be at the expense of others. We can create our own abundance at home: technology can allow us to replace most human toil with robotic automation and more renewable (or at least domestically abundant) alternatives can be used for limited resources. Wealth can happen without war. America is currently unprepared for this jobless economy with resources for all; let's make a plan to get there and be the first.
