Bou Bou Phonesavanh, a 19-month old toddler was critically injured when police tossed a flash grenade in his crib during a no-knock raid looking for drugs. They found none, but the officers were not found to be at fault, even though there was evidence that there were children on the premises.
Curtail the use of these heavy-handed, ineffective, and dangerous practices.
