End military action overseas, cut down on foreign military bases, and cut Defense spending to pre-Cold War levels.

Created by N.S. on September 25, 2011

In order to help balance the budget, our military simply must be included in budget cuts. Our military expenditures are more than six times the next highest country in expenditures, China, and many of the top 10 countries are our allies.

We have military bases covering the globe, with some of our hardest working men and women abroad instead of helping rebuild our country in this recession. It is costly and unnecessary to continue running these bases, taking the responsibility of defense from the countries they are in. Taking these actions would help our global standing and allow us to turn focus toward helping our own citizens prosper here at home.
