Free speech is a valuable right of the American people. However certain people have great power and refuse to exercise responsibility with said power.
We hereby request the Federal Government put in force a SMALL and SIMPLE law whose sole purpose, without earmarks other than appropriations for this specific law, is to make it a crime to label a program as NEWS if the content is scripted or "spun" for a political agenda . The exception being outlets that are defined as Fiction or Comedy such as Colbert, the Onion, Jon Stewert or Fox news
This is not to deny these persons the ability to say what they want, just to prevent them from labeling it as NEWS or FACT when it is merely an opinion.
