The monopolies that exist are not legal according to Sherman Antitrust act and the Clayton Antitrust Act these monopolies are not allowed to raise prices to a level outside of the products value and drive out competition.
This is just basic stuff that our government should be fighting and our senate is too uninformed to realize that this is an obvious monopoly, which is very similar to the ones of the Gilded Age in America.
We are #16 in the world for internet service. Our outdated infrastructure is a major part of it. These companies refuse to upgrade it to squeeze money out of their customers.
