Anyone who enjoys cable television has enjoyed a lot of content and internet connectivity, but in ways that are unduly expensive and unnecessarily constraining. Why? From lack of competition brought about by regional monopolies disguised as regional provider "agreements."
It is time to end the cable television providers from having regional monopolies which prohibit another cable company from being able to offer competitive content within a given region. It is time for any television content provider to be able to offer service anywhere it wants to or is capable of bringing service to. This would foster competition and product innovation, and hopefully lower the cost to consumers.
