English singer-songwriter Morrissey is abusing his massive U.S. fan base by persistently canceling concerts and entire tours. On June 10th, 2014 the singer announced that the remaining nine shows of his current U.S. tour would be cancelled due to a “nasty cold” that he claimed to have caught from a member of his opening act (which she has since denied). Last year, Morrissey cancelled 28 U.S. concerts, and 14 abroad. In 2012, he postponed and cancelled the entire U.S. leg of his world tour (26 shows). The list goes on.
Luckily, fans of his cancelled concerts do receive refunds, however, it's time that we stop idolizing the aging idol who clearly doesn't give a damn about his American fans. He's the worst and we should cancel his tours before he has the opportunity to do so himself.
