We believe that abortion should be illegal in the United States. We feel this because every living thing deserves a chance to experience life. Abortion has potential harmful side effects as minor as nausea and diarrhea and as major as death. It is also proven that 92% of women experience emotional deadening also known as depression after having an abortion. Also 28% of women who receive an abortion attempt suicide. We feel that these statistics are too high and should be decreased by ending abortion. Twenty-two days into labor the heart of a fetus begins to pump its own blood. During week six brain waves are detectable, so during the abortion procedure the baby can feel pain. Due to all these reasons stated, we feel that abortion should be ended once and for all.
