Christopher Columbus was a murderer. Who was also credited with finding the Americas, which he was not the first person to reach the Americas. Columbus is known for killing millions of indians in brutal ways, such as burning at the stake, or letting their dogs eat them alive. Columbus was as bad as Hitler, and Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, ISIS. We are a nation that does not support killing this day in age, as in the case with ISIS, but why in the world would we support ancient murder. I say we end this horrible holiday, and stop supporting murder.
