The Koreans expect us to continue military escalation. Instead we should surprise them with candy, teddy bears and notes explaining that we are not aggressors against them. Similar strategies work in relationships between men and women when they are having irrational hostility. It would certainly take the world by surprise and would show the Korean people that their government's propaganda against the U.S. is wrong.
The North Korean people seem convinced that they should be prepared to give their lives in war against the evil Americans but all the information they are given is from their government. The marching warriors need to see another side of the story.
Diffusing the situation from within, with less military force will save lives and money.
