The NFL is an entertainment business. It shares that with many other venues that are there just for profit and no other real purpose. With the national debt soaring the NFL should be making the same contribution as ordinary tax payers. It should do so because it has been a protected from competition by government assisting this businesses bottom line, going tax free. This is a slap in the face to the tax payers who could care less about the NFL, but look to the government to be fair. Time for the NFL to pay its fair share.
