This petition proposes that the NHL regular season shootout be eliminated.
A proposed solution would be:
3 20 minute regulation periods of 5v5
1 5 minute overtime period of 4v4
1 5 minute overtime period of 3v3
1 5 minute overtime period of 2v2
1 5 minute overtime period of 1v1
Goalies may be pulled at coach's discretion, for an extra attacker / defenseman.
