The No Child Left Behind Act is hindering our global position in education. Instead of lowering educational standards across the board, any student that is having difficulty learning should give forth all his or her effort towards learning. This gives every student the opportunity to reach their potential and advance in education. No Child Left Behind isn't permitting students to reach their optimal educational level. Several TV commercials continue to feed us current statistics regarding our global educational position, yet nothing is being done. Please end No Child Left Behind; the act is absurd.
