The "No Child Left Behind" program has resulted in schools teaching children solely to pass standardized tests, with many abandoning elective programs completely. More and more children are graduating with no knowledge of their own particular skills and talents, and a lack of valuable critical thinking ability.
It is time for a reform of the US education system, and repealing the ineffective No Child Left Behind system is the first step.
