Recently the NSA has been pulled into the spotlight when Edward Snowden revealed long-reaching and deeply damaging surveillance programs, that affect everyone within the US, and a significant portion of the world's population as a whole.
The Fourth Amendment states that the "right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated." If we put this in a modern context, we can see that the NSA surveillance programs can be considered unreasonable searches of our effects, namely our technology.
I believe this surveillance to be unconstitutional, and I ask the Obama administration to recognize these serious breaches of our right to privacy, and to destroy all data gathered by such surveillance projects.
