End the Observance of Daylight Saving TIme

Created by M.P. on March 05, 2015

The practice of daylight saving time no longer serves the purposes it was once intended to serve. In fact, there is mounting evidence that the biannual shift in time can have detrimental effects on personal health, and can negatively impact the environment by increasing energy costs, rather than reducing them.

For any parent who has ever had to explain to their child why we switch our clocks back and forth every year, it is nothing but a source of frustration because there is no rational explanation for this activity.

With no real benefit, and a host of reasons to stop the practice, this is a no-brainer.
