If the government continues to restrict the use of the word "God" in public buildings and refuses to allow religious freedoms, the Public Sector should not be allowed to have Federal and State Holidays for religious reasons. Christmas, Easter, Good Friday and potentially Thanksgiving are purely religious in nature. It is offensive to ban the use of God with laws then take advantage of a Federal Holiday. The offices could be open on Sundays as well since the main reason they are not open is to allow for Church. This will increase efficiency while following the laws that have been passed. The private sector, especially retail, is open for business on these days.
