End or curb factory farming (Otherwise know as CAFO's or "Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations") in the USA

Created by J.K. on September 23, 2011

Currently, the majority of meat, chicken, egg, and dairy products produced in the United States originate from industrial operations known as factory farms. In these places, animals are crowded, abused, and malnourished. This is why you should care:

-Mental and physical suffering is inflicted on these animals on a daily basis, with little to no regulation.

-Hormones and antibiotics are fed to these animals to counteract the effects of the unnatural conditions. These products can end up in our food.

-Excessive waste production harms our air and water supplies and contributes to climate change.

-They destroy the business of independently owned family farms across America.
