Since it launched, the US Drone Program has killed hundreds of innocent civilians in the Middle East and continues to do so. In Pakistan in the year 2011 alone, between 72 and 155 civilians were killed according to reports obtained by the Colombia Human Rights Clinic.
Other tragedies include the more recent drone strike in Yemen 17 days ago that as of 12-29-13 killed 15 civilians that were on their way to a wedding after their party was mistaken for an Al-Qaeda convoy. Other similar stories have unfolded and it is time to either retire or investigate the US Drone Program.
