The Budget Control Act of 2011 put in place a chain of events that would lead to the 2013 Sequestration of the US Federal Budget. This Sequestration has forced cuts to domestic programs vital to the American recovery from the 2008 recession, and for economic growth into the future.
While in the midst of such a dramatic spending cuts, that provide much needed federal services to the American people, the U.S. State Department has shown no sign of the sequestration affecting the coalition security fund program which provides Pakistan with dramatic U.S. aid.
It is a gross mismanagement of American tax dollars, to take away from domestic benefit, but not from foreign benefits. It stands as a contradiction to the sequestration. Extend security related cuts to the beneficiaries of the CSFund.
