End our Dependence on Foreign Oil, Add millions of Jobs, Protect the Environment; All with a few small policy changes.

Created by J.C. on October 26, 2011

The Energy (Oil) companies are not being honest with us. The amount they are investing in R&D and actual implementation of renewable energies is infinitesimally small in relation to their expenditures on Oil & Gas.

Policy Changes:

Increase the government incentives for personal investment in solar energy for consumer based power production. Increase the incentives to the extent that a desirable number of people install solar panels.

Build the infrastructure for the coming hydrogen economy. Use large fuel cells to store the energy produced for the solar panels on all these roofs (for peak demand times).

Use Thorium Based Nuclear along side these Options.

These ideas would create a lot of jobs, lead us to energy independence and create a stronger economic foundation
