End the outsourcing of U.S. Governmental jobs to foreign owned and/or foreign operated companies.

Created by S.B. on July 05, 2013

Article I, Section 8(3) of the U.S. Constitution states that Congress shall have the power to "regulate commerce with Foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes." While there is no one administration to blame, it is time that the United States government ended the practice of outsourcing jobs and contract work with foreign owned and/or operated companies and groups. Most recently, Infosys (a company headquartered in India), announced that Congress awarded it a $49.5 million IT contract to build the D.C. infrastructure. Our national unemployment rate is 7.6%, and using stateside companies for federal contracts can help drop this number dramatically. Outsourcing funds for federal jobs to foreign companies needs to end.
