End paid administrative leave for any law enforcement officer currently under investigation for comitting a crime.

Created by S.G. on September 25, 2011

This is a call to end any and all paid administrative leave for any law enforcement officer that has been accused of, and is currently under investigation for the perpetration of a crime. The minimum mandatory sentence in this situation should be leave without pay.

Not only will this serve as an additional deterrent for any criminal behavior committed by law enforcement officers, but also provide incentive to speed up the internal investigation process.

If the officer is eventually found innocent, they should be reimbursed for any and all salary and wages withheld due to the investigation.
