Parental alienation is the horrible practice where one parent will condition their child(ren), consciously or unconsciously, to withdraw affection from or reject the affection of the other parent; usually found in high-conflict divorces. Parental alienation may be mild, moderate, or severe. There is a recently started non-profit for fathers in Massachusetts called Father 2 Father, Inc. who is seeking funding for an integrated parental alienation survey to track and follow high risk families as they progress through the post-divorce years, coordinating interventions when needed, to help the parents minimize the inter-parental conflict. Parental alienation can be detrimental to the child(ren), both parents, and extended families. Please answer this petition for awareness and a solution.
