PETA is nothing but a disgusting, radical, for-profit, propaganda machine. They have ties with and support ELF and ALF ,both of which are considered by the federal government to be radical terrorist groups.
The PETA website states that, "the most compassionate choice is to euthanize feral cats. You can ask your veterinarian to do this or, if your local shelter uses an injection of sodium pentobarbital, take the cats there."
PETA euthanizes 98% of animals that come through their shelters, deeming them "unadoptable." PETA is under the impression that all animals are better off being set free than living in captivity. There's a massive amount of wonderful animal species that are fully domesticated. Without human care, these species would go extinct, including many breeds of beloved dogs.
